Stay Where Your Feet Are!

Over the last month I have been doing a lot of focusing on mindfulness. Along with this I have studied the laws of the Universe especially the law of attraction. Through this in depth study I have learned a new concept about manifestation. To manifest things in your life it has to be focused on the present, not the past and not the future. Since I have been in personal development for years I know how important focusing on the present is but not to this extent. Years ago I read a book by Eckhart Tolle called "The Power of Now" today I understand that concept at a much deeper level.

When we focus on the past often times it comes out as regrets and depression. When we focus on the future it comes out as worry and increased anxiety. In todays world I have seen a huge increase in clients who struggle with both anxiety and depression. While it is natural to reflecrt on our past experiences and plan for what lies ahead, there is immense value in learning to live in the present moment. The "NOW" is where the power is. The "NOW" is the only state that we can truely manifest and use the law of attration. The Universe does not recognize the past or the future. Positive affimations and manifestation should also be in present tense. Who knew? I know now.

Living in the now improves our mood and lowers anxiety. It will enhance our relationships and foster deeper connections with friends, family and colleagues. It also boost producitivity by focusing on the task at hand without being distracted by worries about the future or regrets about the past. You work more effeciently and effectivly. When I find myself worring about the future I tell myself "that's not today, stay where your feet are". This mantra has served me well to bring me back to the present moment and lower my anxiety and fear. I can be truely happy when I live in the now not focusing on all the what if's. There is an abundance of joy and gratiutde living in the now along with all that power.

Embracing the present is a valuable skill that can significantly enhance your well-being and quality of life. By reducing stress, improving mental health, strengthening relationships, increasing productivity and foster a greater appreiation for life, living in the now is a path to a happier and more fulfilling existence. So, take a moment to pause, breathe, and savor the beauty of the present moment-----it's where true happiness resides.
